Golfing holidays in Great Britain

When one thinks of taking a golfing holiday, quite often they think about going abroad for the experience.  Although travelling abroad for a golfing holiday can be a novelty, packing up your belongings and travelling to a foreign country with golf clubs and so on can prove to be quite stressful, not to mention expensive.  There are some fantastic places to golf right here in Great Britain.  Although the weather may not always cooperate, it is usually more pleasant playing a game of golf when the weather is overcast and mild as opposed to sunny and hot.  Dragging heavy golf clubs in the blistering heat doesn’t seem like such a wonderful idea when you actually have to do it!
