Searching for the Best Registry Cleaner

My son has gone away to college and not only do I miss him, but my computer misses him. He was always able to do something to keep it cleaned up and running fast, but since he has left it runs terribly. I was talking to him on the phone last night and he suggested that I find a good registry cleaner software and follow the directions. I have no idea how to choose one, but my plan is to find the best registry cleaner there is and fix the problems I am having on my own. My son will be so impressed.
