But if you are particularly not interested in learning the language, then you should check out this book by William Harvey called Spanish for Gringos.
Through this book the author shows that you can learn to speak Spanish more quickly if you start understanding the message and not by cramming the grammar.
The course is informal and designed for self-teaching.
At least, it will make you comfortably understand spoken Spanish.
