I can’t believe I begged her to take me back!

I thought that I was so in love wanted to be with her for the rest of my life. A few days after she broke up with me, I sat outside her dorm and waited for her to get out of a study group. To my surprise, she came walking up with one of the football players. At that moment, I realized why she’d dumped me. I just threw myself in between the two of them and begged for her to take me back. They both just laughed at me at walked away. I was too humiliated to ever look at her or him again.
