Tips for solitary for puppies

The hardest thing for me having a new puppy was leaving the little thing alone. Leaving a family pet alone is at some point always going to happen. I read that dogs often have a fear of abandonment and its best to teach them how to cope with solitary when they are still puppies. The best puppy training tip I got for this was placing a puppy in a room like the bedroom perhaps, and laying out a blanket for them to lay or sleep on. The hardest tip I receive was if the puppy cries or whines is just to ignore it because eventually they will get used to it.
