The American Red Cross

The American Red Cross is the country’s reliable emergency response association. It was founded in 1881 by prophet head Clara Barton to render charitable care to the victims of war and supporting injured parties of shocking disasters by nature.

As time passes by, the service of the American Red Cross expanded by including compassionate services in five more areas including the following: “(1) community services that aid those who are in need (2) support and comfort for armed forces members and their families (3) the collection, processing and distribution of lifesaving blood and blood products (4) educational programs that encourage well being & security (5) and global relief and development programs.”
