Deliver the Details with Custom Floor Heat Registers

Friends of mine tell me I have one of the best jobs on the planet. “How is it that you get paid to recreate old building pieces. It’s crazy. It’s the the best job on the planet,” they tell me. — Well, I’m not so sure it’s the best job around, but it is a good one. — Most of the time that is. There was the time, however, when it was my responsibility to recreate over 100 antique Floor heat registers for a loft renovation our company was doing. I thought every ‘I’ was dotted and ‘T’ crossed, but when the delivery came, the design was perfect but the material was all wrong: Painted registers were delivered, polished brass were ordered. Ouch!
