The Search For An Acne Treatment

Many years ago I started to develop acne. Nothing seemed to work although the most common cure then was to try to increase the cleanliness of the infected area. When all else failed my mom would scrub my face with alcohol until it was almost raw. Finally she decided it was not a matter of being clean on the outside but the fact that my diet had too much greasy food. Then she heard that chocolate was the culprit. Her home remedy was an Acne Treatment based on no grease and no chocolate. My acne finally cleared up but it was after I left home.
