Ashley found herself all stressed out and worried about the coming days. As she curled up on the couch, her neck began to throb in it’s predictable way as usual. She had just gone to see Dr. Caushly about getting cervical spine surgery to help relieve the pain in her neck, and she was scheduled to go under the knife as early as Tuesday. As she laid there, all of the terms he used in the office began to swim in her head. “Anterior approach, degenerative condition, normal lordosis, less disruption of normal musculature…” She almost couldn’t think straight, but she trusted him…
