Slow and Steady Wins the Race

August 31, 2009 on 10:00 pm | By admin | In Reference

There’s nothing about the challenges of material life that managing your money well can’t fix. Most people spend a lifetime getting yanked around by money and it actually starts to control them. They are constantly hoping to get good New York lottery numbers so that all their cares will go away. The thing is that even if that were to happen, it wouldn’t change anything. It’s the attitude that needs to change, not the paycheck. Regardless of how much you are making, your habits rule your actual wealth. Most millionaires actually drive a older model car, buy inexpensive suits and live in a middle subdivision. Slow and steady wins the race.

August 24, 2009 on 5:58 pm | By admin | In Reference

Anyone who wants a career as a medical transcriptionist has many choices as to how and where they will complete their education.  They can attend medical transcription schools at colleges or technical schools in addition to earning a degree from an online school.  With the busy lives that people lead today trying to combine school with work and family, many more students are taking advantage of an online education.  Sometimes known as distance learning programs, they allow the  student to take classes in their free time without conflicting with work and family schedules.  These are accredited schools that offer associate degree and certificate programs in medical transcription.  The classes offered online are the same as at a traditional school, so the student is receiving the same quality education.  Also, consider the money saved on transportation when no commuting is involved.  Many of the medical transcription schools can be found on the Internet with just a little searching.

going back to school

August 13, 2009 on 7:31 pm | By admin | In Reference

I recently enrolled in night classes to help better my life. I have  two kids and I have always struggled to get ahead. I finally got so tired of scraping to survive so I saved up the money and I went back to school for my nursing degree. I don’t have a ton of time during the day as I have the kids, my mother helps at night but I need a way to really study fast to get better grades. It’s hard to focus when the kids are around. I came across an online study guide called “Making the Grade” which I found really helpful! It had great tips and was an easy read. I feel like I’m getting ahead faster then I could have imagined thanks to the tools in the book!

The beneficial help one can receive with an Arizona probate attorney

August 5, 2009 on 12:58 pm | By admin | In Reference

I can’t tell you enough how happy I am that I chose to seek the help of an Arizona probate attorney. The hours, time and money I ultimately saved were quite apparent while settling my parents estate.  Due to not living in Arizona where my parents lived, the saved travel expenses and loss of time at my medical practice were reason enough for me to choose a reputable Arizona probate attorney.  It can be easily overlooked that one is dealing with a fair amount of grief at the passing of a parent. Many days my family and I were just going through the motions of our day to day responsibilities. Our Arizona probate attorney proved essential in giving us the luxury of those days. Thus the beneficial help of our attorney was greatly appreciated.

If you are an inventor with a new invention ready to be patented, it is a great idea to seek the assistance of a patent attorney prior to submitting the application.  This is especially true if this is the first time you have ever gone through the process.  If you are like me, you will have a lot of questions about the legal issues that go along with getting a registered trademark and an attorney will be able to provide you with any patent information you need.  You will gain a much better understanding about how to get your invention ready before you contact the US Trademark Office.

The obama social spending budget includes drastic cuts we can’t afford!

July 19, 2009 on 7:56 am | By admin | In Reference

President Obama’s ideas of cutting the budget deficit in half while at the same time bringing this country back onto its feet economically just don’t jive.  The obama social spending agenda includes drastic cuts in many of the social programs we need most.  He stated he will zero out many of the social and educational expenses even as he boasted his budget will allow spending much less on these same programs as his predecessors.

The federal deficit reaches $1.75 trillion this year, the largest deficit in US history.  President Obama has plans to cut that in half by 2013, that amount being $533 billion.  That is a lot of money being cut, but cut from where?  And how will this affect our educational budget?  How much will be taken away from health care programs?

The pirce of Lord Lucan’s sin

July 17, 2009 on 10:12 am | By admin | In Reference

The second thing you must realise is the enormity of the price that I have had to pay. I know that this is as nothing compared to the price that Sandra, dear Sandra, had to pay all those years ago, and that while she lies dead in her grave, I at least have been granted that wonderful miracle of life.  But what a shrinking misery of a life it has been. Nothing like the life I had hoped for as Lord Lucan. And, in so far as one can discuss that airy conceit of natural justice, it would be fair to say that I have received my just desserts. Not that what has occurred to me has even been a penny, a scintilla, of the price that Sandra had to pay.
