Crazy story about my roomate
September 27, 2009 on 2:45 am | By admin | In ReferenceWhen I live in Provo and had roommates, one of my roommates started working for a psychiatrist and she started dating his son. After they broke it off, she still continued to bring around her ex-boyfriend’s best friend and it was unbelievable how troubled he was. He had lost his wife due to his many infidelities and was still begging to get her back. When he saw her at functions in town, he was sincerely heartbroken, but I couldn’t understand why he couldn’t be faithful to her. I don’t describe everything he got into, but eventually he wanted to repent and was excommunicated. He told me and my roommate soon after Christmas that he was now an exmormon, but he wanted to come back. I hope he’s not still an exmormon today and has gotten some control over his passions.
I Loved Books From the Time I Was Five
September 26, 2009 on 11:59 pm | By admin | In ReferenceI remember watching my grandmother sitting at a table and opening a big book. The thing that impressed me most was there were no pictures in it but she was still interested in the pages which were filled with writing. She explained that she was reading about things and people. I was hooked and wanted to do that, too. Soon I was pouring over anything with words on it and began to figure them out. By the time I began school I was determined to learn to read those grownup books as soon as possible. It has now been over fifty years since I saw my first page of words and each new book I open brings the thrill back.
Dating people with different beliefs than Mormons
September 24, 2009 on 2:30 am | By admin | In ReferenceI dated a guy in college who wanted to know more about my mormon religion, but was also desperate for me not to be Mormon anymore because he wanted to marry me. I never should have dated him because I knew it couldn’t go anywhere and his friends were pressuring him to break up with me because of my mormon religion. He brought me to his church and I was uncomfortable with the worship style. I am not accustomed to drums being played in church and when he came to church with me, he found it boring because he was used to lively music in his. He actually got involved with that church because he wanted to be in the band.
I Have to Dig Up the Information
September 21, 2009 on 11:10 pm | By admin | In ReferenceWhen I write medical papers, the worst part is always making sure that everything is properly sourced and cited. I keep a lot of encyclopedic information floating around in my head, but that’s not enough. I actually have to be able to point out the studies and information that support the positions. Using a mla citation generator makes that job much easier. I still have to dig up all my material, but I can let the program put it all together and organize it so that is understandable. It doesn’t put a huge dent in the project, but it does make it so that I can finish up quickly and still have everything look professional.

I Enrolled in Spa School
September 19, 2009 on 1:17 am | By admin | In ReferenceBecause of the economy, I have had to find a new career. I wanted to find something that I could feel good about and still make enough money to support my family. That is why I enrolled in spa school. There are always people willing to spend money at the spa even if the economy says otherwise. I am almost finished with my training and I am excited about the new opportunities this career can give me. It is going to a rewarding career where I can always see people happy. That will definitely make me feel good about what I do.
Wrong church
September 18, 2009 on 12:33 am | By admin | In ReferenceI was laughing so hard about my seminary teacher visiting a mormon church while out of town. Everything seemed fine at an activity she went to until she realized something was slightly off. Her little daughter yelled out, “Mom! These people are drinking coffee!” It turned out to be a branch off of the church. She hurried out of there rather embarrassed by her daughter’s announcement. Members in the mainstream mormon church don’t drink coffee or tea. We don’t condemn others for doing so, but we believe it is bad for out health and habit forming. Herbal tea is OK.
My Brother is a Character
September 17, 2009 on 3:19 am | By admin | In ReferenceI have a brother that is such an intellectual. He absolutely can not pass up the chance to debate about things. At my recent birthday party him and my husband got into it about evolution versus creationism and they just went on and on. He always has something to throw out there. It could be anything from the Speluncean Explorers all the way to the advantages of earth friendly technology. Usually it’s just plain entertaining. He’s actually pretty respectful of other people’s viewpoints. Even if he doesn’t agree with your conclusions, he’s cool with it as long as the logic and reasoning is sound. He’s a character, that’s for sure.

Choosing the Right Size Skip Hire
September 2, 2009 on 2:39 am | By admin | In ReferenceFor those projects around the house when you are needing skip hire it is very important to spend the time necessary to figure out the correct size skip to obtain. When you have this information determined, you can work on finding the best price possible for the size you need.
As you can imagine, a small skip is perfect if you only need to handle a small project in the yard, while a larger skip works perfectly when you need to work on a massive cleanup, such as a huge house. Choosing the correct size is important since you need to ensure you have enough space, but avoid having too much because of costs.
