In all the years of singing in the shower and to my favorite songs on the radio, I never really realized that I didn’t have a good voice until my daughter said “Daddy, can you stop singing like that?”. Wow…that one hurt.

Last month I had a chance to visit my brother and his wife in North Carolina. I don’t get to spend much time with my older sibling, but whenever I do I always have a great time. Steve my only brother is a phenomenal guitarist. He has been playing ever since he was ten years old. When I was visiting my brother he surprised me by giving me one of his many guitars. He gave me a 1967 Fender Telecaster that is sunburst. I decided I would start taking lessons immediately. A combination of lessons and guitar forums has helped me learn at a really fast pace.
