It was going to be a long day. He would be spending his day trading. Unlike other days, he had great expectations for today. It was going to be the day he would prove his right to have that promotion. He spent extra time on his appearance, beginning with a shower and a close shave. He put on his clean and pressed suit. He tied his red tie. He stood and examined his appearance in the mirror. Perfect. He turned, feeling the excitement already, and walked out the door.
