The wonderful thing about bodhrans.

When I was first introduced to the bodhran, it was like the first time I saw a rainbow. My eyes were opened to something magical and unexplainable. At first, of course, I was puzzled by this mysterious and strange Celtic drum. But I found that a little bit of diligence and a willingness to learn allowed me to embrace a new way of providing a beat and rhythm to music. The bodhran is unique to other drums because it is not just an instrument, it actually becomes an extension of the player. Once learned, and easily learned it is, there is nothing like it.
