Those Ivy Vines
May 31, 2008 on 9:10 pm | By admin | In HomeIt was the strangest thing…I had the potted ivy plant out nest to my front door on a plant stand. I would go out and water it but never really look at it. When I decided to move the plant I picked up the pot and started to walk inside when I felt a tug. To mu surprise the plant had vines that had grown up the stone on the out side of my house. It felt like they were holding on for dear life! Very odd, it made me realize how alive the plants are and how they have a mind of their own!
Lemonade, Lemonada, Limonade?
May 31, 2008 on 4:14 pm | By admin | In HealthThe popular drink lemonade may have originated in medieval Egypt. lemonade is a name given to two different types of beverage. The French word limonade, which originally referred to a lemon-flavoured drink, has since come to mean "soft drink", regardless of flavour, in many languages. In the U.S., and Canada lemonade refers to an uncarbonated mixture of lemon juice, sugar, and water. In the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, the term mainly refers to a colourless, carbonated, sweet lemon-flavored soft drink. In India, lemonade (commonly known as Nimbu paani) refers to an uncarbonated mixture of lemon juice, sugar and water which may or may not contain common or rock salt. In other Asian countries, it is called lemonada which refers to a mix of water, lemon juice, and sugar (or without it).But whatever we call it, limonade, lemonada, or lemonade… they all taste the same, great and refreshing!
I’ve downloaded — now what?
May 31, 2008 on 1:20 pm | By admin | In TechnologyI have a question for our many blog site readers out there: I have managed to successfully download some game software for our kids game console. I have the file sitting on the hard drive of my computer at home, but someone told me that I can’t just burn those files to a CD the way I normally would — so I guess I’m asking — after you copy wii games, how do you get them on to this CD so that the disc will work properly when it is inserted into the machine? My kids are really counting on me to come through with this — so I know that I need to get it right. Any suggestions?
Paralegal Work Is Hard Work But Pays Well
May 31, 2008 on 10:19 am | By admin | In ReferenceI have a couple of friends who are lawyers and some of them became lawyers but went thru on being paralegals themselves. They were doing Paralegal Work before and they were inspired by becoming lawyers. They took the education, online because of the busy lives that they have. They had the training. And all their hard work paid off because as an additional bonus it pays really well. They tell me that some of the paralegals who were with them are still paralegals now and they are loving what they are doing. And people, young people, are inspired by their story because it is a story about hard work.

Adult singles dating sites popping up
May 30, 2008 on 5:18 pm | By admin | In MiscellaneousAdult Singles Dating has been been an interesting concept for the past few years. With so many adult dating sites and many of them offering Free Memberships how does one know how to pick the best one according to their preferences. Adults who are single, regardless of their age, are no longer unusual. In fact for Washington DC singles there is almost a cult following. But different places seem to have different attitudes toward singles, especially singles who, in other people’s opinion, are at an age when they "should" be married.
Your Kids Should Learn How To Prevent Snoring
May 30, 2008 on 2:18 pm | By admin | In HealthHave you ever been suddenly awaken by a boat-like sound in the middle of the night and interestingly, you start to hear and feel the sound of motors churning right at the same time your husband hits your bed and falls off to sleep especially when he just returned from a long night of drinking bouts with friends and officemates. No, it’s not a boat that you’re riding but it’s your husband’s snoring. You might not know it but he might be boasting to his colleagues that he has no snoring problem but you do. Yes, that it’s true and you can’t get to sleep because of that but unless you teach him how to prevent snoring, he will have more health problems than he thought and while you’re at it, why not try to teach your kids the ill-effects of snoring and they are never too young to learn. This way, they can learn how to adapt a healthy lifestyle and a good eating habit, right?
We have an extensive list of brochures in our brochure display.
May 30, 2008 on 10:10 am | By admin | In MiscellaneousI am a travel agent. A friend of mine and I have a travel agency in our hometown. We have an extensive list of brochures in our brochure display. Many people come into our office to book trips and talk to us about their vacation plans, but a lot of people just come in and browse our selection of brochures. They take the ones that they are interested in. Usually, they call us later to discuss their travel plans and book their vacation. We have a brochure for just about every trip that we can book, and they are very informative.
