Christian Wedding

My husband and I met at church and most of our friends are part of the church family. My husband has a great sense of humor which is part of the reason that I am marrying him. I would love for our wedding invitations to first and foremost show upfront our love of the Christian faith and secondly offer a great sense of humor about the actual event. We want the wedding to be fun and free and not at all stuffy. For those that are invited they will share the same mindset but I think the invitation is a great way to get the party started.

iPhone Black List URL Revealed to Be Something Else

A few days ago, I wrote about the blacklist URL that someone discovered buried deep within the iPhone that could potentially work to shut down malicious apps on your iPhone, even after you’ve purchased them. But now it looks like this URL “only blocks malicious apps from accessing the iPhone’s Core Location functions,” according to MacRumors. iPod Touch

It seems the fragment “clbl” in this URL stands for “Core Location Blacklist” and that it prevents any apps that are on the list from being allowed into the Core Location, which allows applications to sense the iPhone user’s location by means of GPS and Wi-Fi. 

But that’s not to say Apple can’t disable apps remotely, this URL just isn’t the way they go about doing it.

April Fools

There is never a dull moment working in an office, and if there is, that is what minesweeper is for. As I was changing out the Brother PC201 cartridge one day my boss came by and said there was going to be a meeting in the conference room in 10 min. I thought that was odd. Normally all meetings are planned well in advance. I shrugged it off not thinking much about it. When we all gathered in there, our boss told us that they were going to be laying off some people. After the long awaited pause he yelled, “April Fool’s!!” Man, never a dull moment.

I can’t believe I begged her to take me back!

Have you ever begged pathetically to get your ex back? Unfortunately, I did once and I will never do it again. I thought that I was so in love wanted to be with her for the rest of my life. A few days after she broke up with me, I sat outside her dorm and waited for her to get out of a study group. To my surprise, she came walking up with one of the football players. At that moment, I realized why she’d dumped me. I just threw myself in between the two of them and begged for her to take me back. They both just laughed at me at walked away. I was too humiliated to ever look at her or him again.

We have come a long way

I can remember in the 1970s living in Exmouth WA and being unable to get any television reception.
